Raise Yourself in Higher Spirits: Build Your Self Esteem

February 1, 2012
Building self esteem is one among the most important rules in personal development

It is a well known saying, “a house built on the strong foundation is indeed the one that stays forever.” The same thing is applicable to one’s personal self.

Your self esteem is the building factor that helps you in building your personality. Though its not too easy to over come your negative points and reflect positive aura every time and at every place even at difficult times.
It will not be very easy for you to raise yourself in high spirit. You will take time to get adjusted to new habits and a total new way of thinking about your own self. But it is not too difficult to bring it in action and see yourself as more confident and feel smart about yourself.

Do not let other direct you with negative thoughts

If you have people in circle who don’t have much to do but to tear others own, then now is a right time to say them bye and start seeing those who actually have the potential to lift others in high spirits and create positive vibes. In company of such people you will feel much better and confident about yourself.

Stop accepting yourself as a failure

You may have observed many time that you often say things like ”I am a fool”, “I am week” etc. Though it has nothing to do with your true self but such words or sayings do have their negative impact and somewhere you start believing that you are what you knowingly or unknowingly accepts. In fact it is better to say the reverse, even if you have done a mistake, instead of saying “what a fool I am” say “I could have done it better”

Now you see what a great meaning the second saying contains in itself. The first once have the potential that can compel you to accept that you are a fool while the other statement has a better approach which will help you in lifting yourself high. It would also encourage you to working a better way from next time on.

Do not tear down someone else’s self esteem

If you want to be respected and lifted up, then you should not tear down anyone’s image because those who do so are not liked by others and later on they develop negativity about their selves.

Health Insurance for Cancer Survivors

January 28, 2012
Health insurance can be confusing if you are a chronic disease survivor, your insurance application might get denied several times and you may feel frustrated. With the lack of knowledge it may even happen that you end up either having no or a wrong selection but with the right approach you can get what you have been chasing for long in respect of a right health insurance plan.

If you are not getting success then you can also apply for a private health cover. This will be a much better idea to go ahead with a private insurance rather than dropping your idea of having an insurance plan just due to the chronic disease that you have been suffering.

Before just applying for a separate insurance plan in case of a fatal medical problem, it is better to have a look at your existing health insurance policy and see what type of medical problems it actually covers because in many medical insurance plans few chronic diseases are covered. If your plan too offers such coverage then you would not have to go for another insurance to have a full cover for your disease or problem which is considered fatal in medical sciences.

Now a day society is much aware about cancer and many organizations have raised their voice against any criticism with cancer patients considering which insurance companies have come forward to support cancer patients. As a result many insurance companies are offering customized health insurance plans with expanded benefits for cancer patients however these plans come with many formalities that you as a cancer survivor need to fulfill to prove yourself eligible for availing health insurance benefit with a particular firm.

Supplement insurance is also a better option for those surviving cancer because it will cover all the needs that your existing plan is not able to fulfill. Thus you will be in a win-win situation at the end.

So you see how insurance companies are working for the welfare of common people and how they are getting benefiting the mob.

Carpooling: Pocket-friendly Environment Saving

January 19, 2012
Carpooling is considered to be an emerging trend that has the potential to drop carbon emission to a greater extent. Also it allows you to save extra money instead of wasting it on fuel every day.

Carpooling started back during eighty’s in Switzerland. Since then it has continued to mark its presence among circles and group which are both environment as well as money conscious.

Carpooling allow a group of people to share one car for reaching out to similar destinations be it workplace, hang-out, a formal meet or anything which is related to that similar group of people. The motive behind ride share is to save environment by reducing carbon emissions on the roads through reduced traffic which on the other hand helps a person save enough money too. So it not only helps in saving environment but also gives an opportunity to save you few extra bucks.

People in developed countries have welcomed this concept while those living in rural or developing areas are still unaware of such a great and healthy cause for both environment and your pockets.

Considering the fact that public transport is not that comfortable and a great traveling experience, car share seems to go well with the people because they are more likely to offer their cars one by one instead of waiting in long queue to pick a taxi or a bus. Public transport is yet a difficult choice to make and it’s quite an unpleasant experience to have a trip in public transport and reach late most of the time to your meetings or office. This is the biggest reason why people are more likely to choose for rideshare than opting for a public vehicle.

Car share is a best fit for big cities and metropolitan places where car share companies and public transport can link together. Many good places are an example of healthy environment and reduced carbon emission which they were able to achieve only by adopting car share practice among different groups.
