The qualities through which a dog earned a special place in the hearts of humans are loyal, friendly, affectionate, protection and love. Nowadays many of the dogs are owned only because they are ideal pets. Dogs always try to keep you happy and smiling. It will never judge you for your looks and never hold grudges on you.
Dogs mostly rely on their master for their basic needs for shelter, exercise nutrition and companionship.
These are the basic needs but the most important which a dog needs the most is veterinary care. If you have dog as a pet then you must ensure to take dog for a regular check up by a vet. As they are prone to a wide array of diseases and illness so it is best that he gets vaccinated before the occurrence of these diseases. The fatal dog diseases against which a dog must be vaccinated are as follows:
1. Para Influenza: It is also known as tracheo bronchitis. This is a contagious infection which serious affects the puppies upper respiratory. Gagging and coughing are its symptoms. It proves fatal to young dogs and puppies.
2. Canine Adenovirus: It is also known as Infectious Canine Hepatitis (ICH). It is an extremely contagious disease. This disease is transmitted only in urine. Eye or nasal secretions of animals with these diseases affect the liver, kidneys along with the lining of the blood vessels. Dogs in all ages are prone to these diseases.
3. Canine Distemper Virus: This disease is transmitted through the infected dogs. It severely affects gastrointestinal, central nervous and respiratory system. This disease is fatal for adult dogs and puppies.
4. Rabies: A vaccination should be against this disease to dogs before its occurrence. As it severely affects all warm blooded animals including humans. It deadly affects the brains. Pets get expose to it through the bites of wild animals like bats, foxes, skunks etc.
Therefore keep a dog disease free by giving them vaccination.
